To Be or Not To Be… A Quitter!
So who’s a quitter anyway? How do you define one? And no, I am not looking for the dictionary meaning.
A 16-year old girl decided to end her life because she was unable to take the bullying at school. Does that make her a quitter?
A 35-year old quit his job and left the city for the mountains. Does it make him a quitter?
A 60-year old woman called off her third marriage. Does this decision make her a quitter?
Perhaps we need to redefine the definition of a ‘quitter’.
After all, quitting is not always about lost courage! It’s sometimes about an awakening!
It is about taking control of your life. And yes, it’s also about losing control. Losing control to open ways for new phases of life to enter in!
Why hold on to an unhappy marriage/relationship?
Why drag yourself into the misery of going to work everyday when you just don’t love it?
Why stay in the city when you like the countryside more?
Why stay put in that comfortable family business?
QUIT. QUIT. QUIT.
Quit as soon as you can! Quit as much as you can!
Because it is only when you quit do you begin!
Begin a journey of new thoughts!
Begin a journey that you love!
Begin a journey that matters!
After all, YOU LIVE ONLY ONCE
